Where Honor Meets Health
Mission Valor Health: Serving the Homefront addresses a critical gap in civilian healthcare. We provide comprehensive education, training, and policy advocacy to enhance military-culturally competent care for servicemembers, veterans, and military families. With over 18 million veterans in the United States and millions more active-duty personnel and family members, the need for healthcare providers who understand military culture is paramount.

We saw a critical gap in the care Veterans were receiving in the civilian sector and we knew our mission was mitigate the gaps in care they are receiving. We are equipping providers with the knowledge needed to identify Veterans in their practices, provide culturally competent care, and refer to Veteran centric resources in the community thus honoring their service and sacrifice.

Behind every Veteran stands a family that has also carried the weight of service. Too often, their needs are overlooked in the civilian care system. Our mission is to change that by preparing providers to recognize Veterans in their practices, respond with cultural understanding, and guide both Veterans and their families to the resources they deserve.
